when pursuing advanced education. Past Southern Scholars have gone on to medical
school, pastoral work, law school, and graduate work in other fields at such
institutions as Vanderbilt, Loma Linda, and Duke.
Invitation.
You'll be invited to join Southern Scholars at
registration, if you have a high school GPA of 3.7
or higher, or after finishing 31 to 62 semester
hours of college credit with a cumulative GPA of
3.5 or higher. To stay in the program you must
maintain a GPA of 3.5 and work toward comple-
tion of the curriculum.

Honors Seminar:
HMNT 451 and 452 are one-hour courses
(that involve reading and discussing books of the
Western tradition. Senior Project: Should display
significant achievement in student's major.
